First observed this pair of Cooper's Hawks nesting in this Miami Park in 2016. They nested there again the following two years.

This year he built her a nest and observed her using it. All seemed well for two weeks but not sure why, if it was weather, iguanas or raccoons, but something caused her to abandon it.

They continued courtship for several weeks and he attempted to lure her to two other nest areas, but none seemed to work. So they didn't nest in the park, do not know if they moved to another location, but will miss seeing fledglings among the pines this year.
